Jasper Maekelberg is a relatively new name in the Belgian and international music scene, but at the very least one to watch. At barely 25 years of age, he has made quite a splash for himself while attending the Royal Conservatory of Ghent by starting and playing in critically acclaimed bands (on national level) such as Faces On TV, Yuko and Amongster.
Don’t be fooled by his age though, as Jasper’s strengths expand far beyond the stage. After graduating as music producer in 2012 he managed to cram an impressive list of artists on his résumé.

With more than 10 years of experience at DAFT Studios (and the former La Chapelle Studios), Stijn knows this place as the back of his hand.
His mission is to help artists get the best possible sound for their songs. To achieve this, the use of natural room acoustics, pristine technical conditions and of course a good vibe are paramount.

Manu has been one of the main assets at La Chapelle Studios since 1998. He stood at the cradle of La Chapelle Studios as technical director and sound engineer and went on to become the Studio Manager in a later stage. Troughout all those years he mixed and recorded numerous albums with internationally reknown artists at La Chapelle Studios.

He began his career working with Andrew Weatherall remixing and producing for the likes of Future Sound Of London, Bjork, New Order & The Chemical Brothers before forming the seminal band Sabres Of Paradise. His work on Primal Scream's groundbreaking album “XTRMNTR” led to him being asked to remix & produce for a huge number of artists under his own name.

Remko Schouten is a renowned music Producer/Engineer based in Amsterdam, Holland.

Remko has gained lots of experience as live engineer throughout the 90's touring the world with the indie rock protagonists of Pavement.

After self-producing their first albums “Bring It On” (2006) and “Synrise” (2010), GOOSE teamed up with British producer Paul Stacey in La Chapelle studios for the recordings of their third album “Control Control Control” (2012). The band was charmed immediately by the studio and its beautiful location in the Belgian Ardennes. 

By creating and producing three full albums and dozens of remixes for artists like Scissor Sisters and Daft Punk, the musical craftsmanship and experience of GOOSE are well known and appreciated around the globe.

Staf first started out as a musician and toured with Elisa Waut, Kloot Per W, The Candy Dates and Aiming Dishes. The Candy Dates' drummer Fernand Buyls, who was a fellow sound engineer, introduced him to the art of recording. Together they started Umbrella Studio in Ghent.
Staf recorded and mixed Deus' very first EP, Zea, and produced Metal Molly's debut album, Surgery For Zebra, with their hit single Orange.

From 1997 until 2010, he took over Jet Studio in Brussels.
Currently Staf is working as an independent engineer.

Belgian based engineer/producer Werner Pensaert began his career as a keyboard player/session musician and then went on to produce and engineer a wide variety of Belgian artists such as Aroma di Amore, Wim Mertens, Jo Lemaire, De Kreuners, Toy, The Scabs, Soulsister, The Radios, The Confetti’s etc. His talent encompasses and accommodates a wide variety of styles and has earned him a great reputation particularly for ‘live’ orientated sessions, and especially when he tours around with his renowned analogue outboard gear.
He remains in high demand due to his skill and professionalism for ‘live’ and TV broadcast work. These days he is working a lot on high profile Jazzrecordings, as well as lending his talent to notable events such as ‘Rock Werchter’.

In 2007, Micha founded the band The Sore Losers, together with guitar player Cedric Maes. Later on he left the band to focus on his own music project, The Vermin Twins, together with Lotte Vanhamel.

David Poltrock is a Brussels-based Belgian producer, arranger, composer and musician.
As a record producer, his credits include 2 Belgian number 1 hits ‘Home’ by Tom Helsen and ‘Sadness’ by Stash.
As an arranger, Poltrock can boast 100+ string arrangements as well as drum and synth programming and soundscape design on songs for belgian and international artists.
A a composer, Poltrock covers a wide variety of styles ranging from sophisticated electronic music over seventies retro pop and rock to contemporary indie and mainstream pop music. Recently Poltrock topped the German charts when Berlin Hip Hop Poet ‘Prinz Pi’ reached #1 with his album ‘Kompass ohne Norden’, co-written by Poltrock.

Being a drummer since he was a kid, Jannes starts doing very basic recordings in his attic room when he is 15 years old. After a few years of practicing, he goes to RITS in Brussels (BE) to start a sound education. After two years he quits and moves to Hasselt (BE) to go study at PXL Music.
During this three-year education he learned the trade from people like Werner Pensaert, Stijn Verdonckt, Filip Heurckmans, Steven Maes and many others.
He had 4 months of traineeship with Margret Van Den Heuvel (Hillsuite 7 Management). She sent him out to work with David Poltrock, Mario Goossens (Triggerfinger) and Peter Schmidt in Berlin. In 2014 he graduated as sound engineer and has been working full time in recording studios since then.
